The scale has 3 different weighing areas, for small, medium and extra heavy vehicles. The scale changes the weighing areas automatically.
Easy to use:
- Place one scale in front of every wheel.
- Switch the scale ON.
- Drive the vehicle onto the scales.
- Read the display.
- The total weight of the vehicle is the sum of all scales.
When the EVOCAR-2000R Wireless version is used the weighing command is given from a computer and the results can be printed out and stored in the computer.
The correct way to weigh a heavy vehicle is to have scale under every wheel simultaneously. This way gives the right axle and total weights of the vehicles. Each scale has a capacity of 10 000 kilos and so with a standard set of 10 scales a vehicle of 200 000 kilos can be weighed.
Axle by axle weighing
A vehicle can also be weighed axle by axle. The scales are placed in front of the wheels of the
first axle, the vehicle is driven onto the scales and weighed. The procedure is repeated with
every axle of the vehicle. When all the axles are done, the weights are either summed up or
with wireless scales a weighing report is printed out.
The possibility for weighing errors is bigger with this method than with a scale under each wheel
as there occurs weight shifting every time the vehicle is moved.
Transportation rack and charging unit
Transportation rack can be installed into the control van. This makes storing and handling of the scales easy. The charging unit is mounted on the rack.
Recharging of the scales is done either by using the electric system of the van (12 V DC) or from the mains (230 V AC). A signal lamp indicates the recharging process as well as that when they are fully operable again.
